Hi, I'm not sure if this is server-wide since some people have reported having no lag, so I am making a thread. The past day or so I am continuously getting lag spikes (oftentimes whilst chats are still working) where all the monsters stop moving and i cant use buffs/skills etc. The game then disconnects me to login screen, and when I try to login again it says my character is still connected. I then go to mapleroyals website, character fix, and this lets me log on. 5 minutes later, the whole cycle repeats. Is there any way to mitigate this issue? I have checked pingtest and speedtest and am getting very good numbers, so I'm not sure what to do. Thanks!
I suspect that it is not an issue with the connection between you and the server, since it happens to many people. I am under the belief that it has to do with the server source having stability issues due to memory leaks.
