I'm just trying to get a bunch of opinions here but my problem is that overall gameplay is fine except when it comes to a Zak run. So I tried Zak 3 times so far and each and every time I got disconnected. My first two attempts was on a Macbook Pro ('10) and I started off at the highest graphic setting but D/C within a minute on both attempts. My 3rd attempt was on a different Macbook Pro ('10) but I decided to start off at lowest graphic setting and I lasted 10 mins before getting D/C when i accidentally pressed a hotkey for equips. I was fortunate enough to get help from Kenny (thanks a million for the quick response!) and he suspected my internet is a likely culprit to my D/C issues. But I have never had an interenet issues, ever :/ Anyone know if my macbooks could have graphic problems? I'm planning to test out my old PC laptop in the near future on a another zrun to see if any problem occurs but for now, any advice?
I'd say definitely try it out on your PC laptop. The game is naturally built for the PC, with special coding having to be done to make it compatible for Macs. As amazing as our coders are, there is a fair chance that you being on a Mac could be the source of your problems at Zakum. So yeah, definitely try it out on your PC laptop, see how that goes, and then if it fails again I'd say it's probably got something to do with your internet and someone more tech-savvy would be a better source of advice for that.
