Okay so I recently visited the maple site and saw the reboot coming so decided to sell my normal account and stumbled upon this site while doing so. I downloaded the game and made a character. My Problem is that after I kill a few monsters or usually 15-20 seconds after logging on it freezes and kicks me to the login screen saying lost connection to the server. While trying to log back in it says its already logged in. Here are fixes I have already tried: Turned my firewall off/on, doesn't make a difference Allowed mapleroyals in defender and allowed access to certain ports I read in a forum post. I have reinstalled and such multiple times, turned down graphics. Idk what else is the problem. I am not sure if it is my home connection as I sometimes lag while playing DOTA 2, but never disconnect, and it only spikes up badly infrequently. Is it my internet or something to do with this game? I would love to play because bandits and shadowers old school has always been a goal of mine, and now I am so close! If anyone can give me tips or remedies that would be awesome. I play on a Razer 2014 blade with windows 10, so it should be able to handle Maplestory. I also have the real Maplestory downloaded through steam, if that could be the Issue. Thanks All
If you have a mobile phone you could try connecting your laptop to your phones internet as a hotspot and see if you still have that issue, if you don't there is a network problem.
It hasn't been a problem as of like 2 am last night and all day today, so I'm not sure, will try on my 100mb school connection when I get back, and your suggestions, thanks.
