cooldown period on smegas

    Sometimes when selling things, more than one smega in row is needed. But a 1 minute cool down for that would be fine. 5 - 10 minutes would be annoying.

    Great idea though, and I am sick of smega conversations/ smega spam.

    Honestly I think 10 seconds is more reasonable. If this were to be implemented, 10 seconds would give breather time, and would lower the rate of spam (if they were to spam) by a lot.

    I'd prefer smegas not being dropped by mobs, but instead adding an NPC that gives you 5-10 smegas once per 24 hours per account (IP if this is possible, idk if it is).

    Imo this kind of cd will be annoying , the tagglesmegas commands is enough , sorry chance but I vote NO for this one .

    It's never too late. I wouldn't mind a cool down though. Some of us actually leave smegas on because someone might have something interesting to say (I know, hard to believe).

    Or do a smega wipe and only have them purchasable by buying them for 1m from Frederick or something. Money sink and less spam. 2Birds1Stone

    Could you say why not? Right now, I'm seeing lots of good reasons to implement this and I don't THINK it would be difficult to implement such a measure.

    A cooldown would be nice, but not as severe as once per 1 minute.
    Maybe two per 30 seconds.

    I am totally in favor for this. Why?
    It's stupid enough to see Smega conversations pop up. Usually it are the same people as well. When I ask what the purpose of those smegas are I just get a reply that it's "Fun to show the love to their buddies in public"
    To be honest it's more annoying knowing they can easily do that in buddy chat instead of annoying us Smega watchers for sellers/Buyers, etc. Smega conversations need to stop. We got Whisper options for that, buddy system etc.

    To be honest it's more annoying knowing they can easily do that in Free Market instead of annoying us Smega talkers, etc. Smega selling and buying need to stop. We got Store permits for that, forums etc.

    I don't really see a need to change anything. From my experience the kind of spam you showed doesn't happen that often, and even when it does it stops in like a minute. As for smega conversations, I enjoy 'eavesdropping' on them.

    Basically, I don't mind the spam.

    Don't spammers get muted for 1-2 days anyway?
    It feels weird that we have to become restricted in the amount of smegas we can use because 1 kid spammed 10 smegas in a row.
    I've rarely seen a situation like that anyway..
    Wouldn't it be better to just update the policy regarding smegas to make spamming a bannable offense, or punished by mutes?

    I'm against this, when i was new this was my only monetary income until Gacha, and i'm sure it's for others.
    A cool down of 20-30 secs is fine IMO. i'm very dumb and i type the wrong number of FM room, so i need to fix it in another smega ASAP.

    LOL Sorry, John. I just wanted to get my feelings about this out. XD

    Firstly, this is supposed to be a fun server. We don't play this just to buy and sell virtual items or R>PQ @@@@@@. That is so business-like and boring. We want to congratulate our friends or show love to other people on the server (buddy list, guild, alliance, GMs, people on the server in general). As for smega conversations, they don't happen often in the way where one person talks to another and another person replies in a back and forth repetitive manner. The other type of "conversation," which happens more often, usually lasts only a few smegas with multiple people's input.

    I agree with @Demiosu about the muting/banning of spammers policy being reinforced/updated.

    Secondly, we don't need to nerf the smega drop rate. As @Sheby said, it's a good soirce of income for new players. It is also a good way for 4th job mages, especially, to make money. Smegas also help lower-leveled PQers find parties or new friends.

    In conclusion, there is nothing wrong with our current smega system. They bring a sense of community and contribute to our server.
