Closed Corndog ban appeal

Last thing you did: Not too sure, haven't played in a year or two -- probably getting leech at Ulu City or something on my hermit.
Why do you think you got banned?: It says that I was banned for owning a 50 int bathrobe, but I never had one in my possession. What I think may have happened was that I play at a university so my IP is shared with thousands of students, I believe that I was falsely banned due to the fact that I shared IP with somebody that may have had said 50-int bathrobe. I had the same issue before a couple years back, Dustin handled that for me and unbanned me.

Unfortunately no, I am still at university. I have a couple of friends that are currently playing right now, which is why I've decided to come back. They're playing perfectly fine right now.

You should not try to play while you're banned, as that would be seen as ban evasion.
If your current IP is the one linked to empyv3 then it means we can't unban that IP.
Unless you have a different IP available, there's nothing we can do for you.

 

I'm a little confused because all of my friends are currently playing while my account is the only banned one, so I am assuming that this isn't an issue where my IP was banned. I am also confused because I do not have a character named "empyv3", which makes me question the banning as well. Like I said, I didn't even know that I had a 50 int bathrobe in my inventory. Can you look into this?

 

Also in response to clarify** I am not playing, my friends are. Like I said in the beginning, we go to the same University that shares the IP with around 60,000 individuals (I go to a large state school).

 

Out of curiousity, the last time you actually succesfully logged in on MapleRoyals was it from the university as well? As in, the same IP as you have right now?

 

I have logged in at home back then, but the last time I successfully logged in was probably at school so yes, the same IP.

 

Any updates in regards to my status?

 

That doesn't tell us much, can you perhaps PM me the IP you're currently trying to log in from?
