Now that's confusing. The corsair guide says they don't need HP washing at all, the HP washing guide says they need a lot of washing. So which one is true?

I saw a lot of high leveled corsairs that didn't wash at all, at best they have hoarded MP by leveling up with INT. But is it relevant to the new source? What about the ship cooldown when bossing?
Both of the guides are pretty old and not up to date with the new source so I have no idea what is going on.

The only reason you should HP wash as a Corsair is Horntail.
    Tail deals 27K touch damage.
Legs deal 10k touch damage. This shouldn't be a problem because you should never touch them, along with the tail.
Wings deal up to 9.1k touch damage. They can deal ~8k magic damage? Their magic attack range is relatively small, but the wings often fly up and extend their range.
Heads deal 14k-19k touch damage and 5.6k~ magic damage.

Check when the Corsair guide was last updated. There was a time in MapleRoyals when you could "Freeze" Horntail.
Entering the final Horntail map would cause you to aggro a certain part.
    I believe it was 1. Tail. 2. Legs. 3 Wings. 4. RH? 5. LH? 6+ Heads

If the 3rd person to enter the map is not within a certain range of the Wings, the Wings don't move, they're frozen .
Likewise for Tail/Legs/RH/LH but the Heads had basically map wide aggro range so they couldn't be frozen.
This made it easy for ranged attackers to Horntail with only 5.6k HP because that was the maximum damage the Heads could deal.

This bug has since been fixed and the wings cannot be frozen. They deal up to 9.1k touch damage which makes washing ranged attackers to 9.1k HP desirable.

You can still HT with 5.6k HP, you'll just need to avoid the wings by never falling down the platform.
