YoungLePoPo here, uhh so i was trying to buy elixers and some seem to have upped price to about 3k each (from 2.5k) which is still relatively cheap. But i always wondered about the cost efficiency versus the % pots that Miki sells in NLC. so i did some math lmao if i compare the cost/1% then: Ginseng Root (40%) = 52.5 mesos/1% Elixers (50%) = 60 mesos/1% Ginger Ale (75%) = 50.7 mesos/1% Power Elixer (100%) = 50 mesos/1% So that's under the assumption that elixers are sold at 3k ea and Power Elixers at 5k ea. For elixers to be as cost efficient as the next best (Ginseng) it'd have to cost 2625 ea. At the price that i used to assume it was (2500) it's efficiency was 50/1% Of course I'm not taking into account what kind of mobs you train on (Like if they hit you down to ~50% each time so you wouldn't be able to take advantage of 75% healing) and I'm also not taking into account actual HP and MP numbers cuz that's unique to each character. idk if this helps anyone, or if it's even right at all. Actually the difference is so arbitrary cuz these pots arent all that expensive. TBH my issue wasn't even price to begin with, it was just that i'm too lazy to go to the FM to buy elixers. So yea thx for reading lul
This is actually very useful. I read somewhere once that for Ginger Ales to be the most cost effective pot, you need to have over 3500 max MP. I can't quite remember if that was the correct figure however you see where I'm coming from. Considering one mana pot heals 600 MP, and costs 600 mesos, you can work out how much max MP you need to have before you can justify spending the price for one Ginger Ale. I've made the figures up in my post as I have no memeory of cost or anything, but it is genuinly useful to know your pots
The reason why people would buy PE's would be mainly for HT (or security that you can recover max hp for that matter) Personally wouldn't like to rely on a pot which won't heal enough to offset the damage taken by a monster.
