Hi- killing mobs in Carnival PQ yields no drops and carnival points (CP) if one side is outperforming the other side. The monster drop and CP seems to resume only if the losing side "catches up" to the winning side in certain metrics (possibly CP? or # of mobs killed?)

Can you provide more details about the issue?

Do you mean if one side is 100 CP and the opponent is 200 CP, nothing will drop for the 100 CP team?

Would be helpful to have more details or relevant screenshots

I've experimented and it seems like...

If enemy kills 20 mobs, then only the next ~40 mobs I kill will drop items and give me CP. 41st mob and onward will drop no items and give me no CP. Interestingly, exp is still given to all party members normally.

The only way to resolve this is to have the enemy kill more mobs, which would "unlock" more mobs for me. It seems like there's a certain ratio (maybe 1 enemy mob death required for 2 of my mobs to give me drop&CP?).

My initial guess was that this was an intended feature to block people from playing cpq with themselves via multiclienting (which I don't think is against ToS).

In your typical CPQ play (like 4 separate people) where both red and blue teams are actively killing, no one would notice this because both sides are constantly killing mobs to enable CP/Drop for the other side

But when you're multiclienting to leech urself, this issue makes it impossible to leech urself on a single computer.

This is a new issue that arose immediately after the bunny egg patch today (April 2).

I tried to replicate it a few times with an AFK opposing team. Once you get to around 90-95 carnival points, the monsters stop giving you any drops & CP.

I took a video of this happening in my run (I'm not sure . It was a 2v2 run with everyone playing actively. When my team got around 200cp, before I could even full summon mobs, approximately 2/3rds of the monsters we killed stopped dropping items and CP. The opponent team was at about 140cp to our 200, so we weren't outpacing them much. The opposing team did not notice any bug with their CP or drops.

This is definitely new behavior, I've done leech PQs getting 2000 higher cp than the opponents and the drops were all normal. This bug has a niche negative effect to leechers in that we use CP to measure the success of the run, so now our ruler is broken haha. Of course it negatively effects normal gameplay as well if players can't get potions, coins, or accurately count their CP to win.

We haven't tried another PQ yet, if it's relevant at all it was Channel 3, PQ Room 3, on the right side.

    @Dave Deviluke

I had this happen to me as well, but in a more controlled environment (I'm self-leeching), I start off with Red Team at about 63 points all from the F/P mage of the party. I summoned two F10 Rombot's and started playing on the Blue Party (Corsair). I hit 143 CP for my party, and the drops stopped, and the points stopped going up, no more drops happened.

I gathered and prepared this video. I tested on the red team and they were able to collect points, and I summoned again on Red Team and then I could collect more points again on Blue.

    Video proof:

Update: This has happened 3 times in a row (I play the same way each time since I'm self-leeching get Red Team to 60ish points, then just let Blue dominate) with 2v2 matches.

I just got it with 72 v 152?, then 86/166, Then I let red team get an even 100 points and got stopped at 181. Then finally got to 105 and got stopped at 185.

It seems to stop letting teams have any more than a difference of about 80 in score (My first example I don't remember that well and a Rombot is worth a lot of points.) I think it'll let it go over if you're at say 79, but it will only let the difference in points between the two teams be 80.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue. However, I observed that points and potions work normally when both parties are actively hunting. Is it an intentional patch to prevent from leeching? or is it just a bug?

    +1 for this bug.
Can't get any pots or cp when the difference is too big.
