Solved [Solution Given] Crashing when trying to use a normal or skill attack

Hi all,

I am getting this issue where I would crash each time I try to press my attack or skill attack button. Everything else is fine; moving between maps, jumping, using buffs.

Crash error is 5: Access is denied. Tried to run as administrator, disabled my windows defender and antivirus while downloading, changed attack keys, reinstalled the maple client. All of which didn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

Before installing make a new file and block your antivirus/windows defender from scanning it. After you’ve done that reinstall the game into that folder.
Preventing it from scanning after it already scanned is useless as it already removed files

 

I did that and the error still comes up. I tried starting up my account on another PC and it still crashes with the same error. My friend had been playing that PC with his account no issues.

 

Is your character a paladin equiped with 1 hand axe weapon?
There is a bug with axe mastery skill since last update, if so you better try other weapons till the bug is fixed.

 

This is it. You were right, I can attack normally after I unequipped my 1 handed axe.
