Could you add the option to ride by boat to Orbis? Then we can fight the Crimson balrogs the "old-fashion-way". By doing this I don't mean removing the instant-travel to Orbis, 'cause I hate waiting for the boat, however you could implement a way that makes both riding the boat and instant-travel possible.

I would also like to have the option of the boat ride to Orbis, not so much for C-rogging but to be able to do the Maple History Book quest, as it's a prerequisite for a number of high level quests.

Having said that, I talked to Matt about it a couple of months ago, and he said it would probably be very difficult to implement.

As for instant travel being a luxury... a while back, we had a working Kerning-NLC subway, but it proved very unpopular with a lot of players. Admittedly, there was a glitch with NLC FM at the time, which meant that you ended up in Perion if you went into the FM in NLC, and I'm not sure how much that affected people's feelings on the idea of working transport.

Would it be easier to make it so you pay to enter a map that has barlogs spawn and after lets say 10 min it boots you to orbis, or back to the town we set it to?
