My friend @kaisthtc and I hosted two Crimsonwood Keep Party Quest expeditions. The first run went smoothly and as expected. The second run, however, a couple of funny things happened. I was responsible for two rooms, the Bowman's room and the Magician's room. I did the Bowman's room first, and I chatted too much, so our clock was running low, about 2 minutes remaining. I rushed out of the Bowman's room and dropped the Ancestral Bow on the floor as I shouted (in text messages) to my friend to loot the Ancestral Bow and put it on the Altar while I switched my client to the Bishop and headed myself into the Magician's room. In the midst of all the sudden panic, yet another unexpected event happened, my friend's character disconnected back to the log-in screen after it looted the Bow. The rest of the party figured that our run was lost, and they, too, restarted their clients. I, however, was rushing and did not notice any of this going on, so I finished the Magician's room, reached the statue NPC, and talked to it. However, after skipping through its dialogue, which I did not read, there was no system message in the chat indicating that I received the Staff of First Magic. I checked my Etc. inventory slots, very thoroughly, and there was no Staff in it. Yet I was sent back to the outside. Therefore, I rushed inside again and completed the entire room yet again, and the same thing happened when I talked to the statue again; I just got teleported out, and there was no Staff, no system messages. Also, no, for both times, my Etc. slots were not full; there were several vacant slots. At this point there were only 15 seconds left on the clock, so I just waited until we were all kicked out of the expedition. My friend logged back in to her character, spawned outside of the expedition, and apparently the Ancestral Bow remained in her inventory. I asked her to pass the item to my character so that I could take a screenshot. [The attached image has expired. The image depicted the item Ancestral Bow in a player's Etc. inventory slot outside of the party quest.] I passed the Bow back to her. It is now on her character, and she will be the one to keep it. But, anyway, admins, please look into this, especially the part where the Magician's statue malfunctions and does not give us the Staff of First Magic, as this means, if this ever happens to any other party again, the run will be impossible to complete, and it is a waste of everyone's time. In my book, this is a game-breaking bug. I am sorry I cannot provide any more details or screenshots or videos because everything happened very fast over a very short period of time while everyone was panicking. I hope you will be able to investigate and replicate this for a proper conclusion regarding what might be wrong with the implementation of the PQ. Anyway, in addition to that, I would like to ask the admins to clarify what is allowed and not allowed regarding this Ancestral Bow we have accidentally obtained. Please answer all of these three following questions. Can we keep it in our inventory as a token of memory or a novelty item, or should we get rid of it (either by tossing it and letting it despawn or by giving it to a GM character directly, or maybe by you guys removing it out of @kaisthtc's character directly via some form of administrative actions)? In the case that we can keep it, can we sell or trade this item to other players? In the case that we can keep it, are we allowed to spend it in order to skip the Archer's room for one of our runs in the future in the same manners in which we can spend the yellow pass looted from King Slime summoned via Monster Sacks in future Kerning PQ? I hope to hear back from you guys soon.
Why would you bring it into another run? Of course it disappears after the end of the run. There goes a novelty item.
