So i have decided to go the path of the crossbowman on my new character but i have no idea where to start and if i should be STRless or what? I am having trouble finding any pre BB guides out there so any help would be appreciated
I'd recommend staying STRless and using maple weapons until you can get your equips sorted out. Saves you from having to reset STR when you end up with too much.
Ok so where do i go about getting the maple weapons? and any ideas on where i should head with this build? Sorry im asking so much just brand new and only ever played mage in GMS
Ok... maple weapon drops can be found here. Training spots: 10-30 Anywhere, it's not hard on a 4x server 31-50 CPQ is amazing 40+ leprechauns, master/platoon chronos if you need some dough 51-55 stds 51-60 voodoos 51-80 ghost ship 2 55-70 FoG (you'll need a melee training partner or some PKB to train here) 76-100 Typhons (you'll want 21+ AE) 76-100 Wolf spider party 85-100 Gobies (once you have some strafe and ae, maybe blizz idk) 95-110 Himes 85-100 newtie snipe 100 -120 newtie party Skill build: first job (in no particular order) max critical, double shot, eye of amazon, 3 blessing, rest into focus. second job (my build) 1 IA max mastery booster and soul arrow until both are at 60-90 seconds (duration is personal preference) IA or PKB as needed, until both are maxed finish booster and soul arrow finish focus 3rd job 1 strafe 5 mortal blow (or is it 3? whatever you need for ae) 21 or 30 AE (21 has max range, 30 has 160% instead of 140% damage, which is an 11.1% increase in dps considering crits) 1 blizz (optional) 21 or 30 strafe (21 has 90%, 30 has 100%, which is a 7.7% increase in dps considering crits) puppet or blizz depending on where you train. do not level blizz above 21 thrust 10 or 20 (+20 vs +30 speed, remember there are pet equips and speed pills) rest into mb
In addition, Golden Eagle must be at least 15 as well to unlock Frostprey. For stats, you can be strless till about 8-9x, then start preparing to add str to convert to your neschere/DSX. Lvl 10-35 will be a bitch though, since you can only wield the lvl 12 xbow till 35.
