Hi guys, I was wondering if there was a guide on the most efficient and effective ways to attain certain crystal and metal ores in maple royals. I see some stores in FM that literally have 150+ steel plates or 40+ of certain refined crystals and i can't understand how they got so many (plus they sell for pretty insane prices since there are so few stores that carry this). I'm just wondering if there was a repeatable quest or a very efficient way to acquire these mats. This is what i know: comes from 100 x . Not sure if this is the best way to farm it but i'm not sure how to get steel ore consistently from any drops. drops from which is an easy farm but again not sure how often it drops or if there is a better monster to do it on. The only other method i know that I've read to be successful is the Sleepywood jump quest where you can get pretty much every type of metal ore: http://global.hidden-street.net/quest/victoria-island/johns-pink-flower-basket I remember doing this quest a long time ago and it did go pretty fast if you were fast, however because its luck based, if you're trying to find a certain metal, you could waste a lot of time.
Steel is very common since it drops in a lot of heavily leeched maps. Wolfspiders, gobies, skeles, ulu2 all have mobs that drop steel.
Facestompers require 50 steel plates to make. Mithril is required for horntail pq. The other ores aren't that valuable because they're only used for quests and forging (which is kinda a waste of money when we have 2x drop)
Thats since those plates are needed to craft ITCG items, and you need a LOT of plates. That will increase the price.
