CTD on launch

    hi,

    game crashes to desktop when I try launching it. It doesn't even let me login. The error says "error code: - 2147467261 (Invalid pointer)"

    I tried running it as admin, it made no difference.

    I realized I installed the game over a previous installation who was quite old. Figured file conflicts were probably the cause and re-installed the game after deleting the game folder. Problem fixed!
