So here's the story: I was Zakking and everything was going great. Then the server lag hit. Everyone DCed, so we waited around for a rewarp. Rewarp was very quick (thank you GMs), though as soon as I re-entered Zakum's altar, I noticed the background music was wrong for that map. Yes, I know I'm weird because I listen to the BGMs occasionally. Anyhow, that alerted me to something being bugged, and sure enough I DCed within a few seconds of re-entering after being rewarped. So I put out another ~gm explaining the situation and I get rewarped within 1 minute (again, big thanks to the GMs here). Re-entering the map for the second time, the BGM was still incorrect so I was expecting another DC. 5 seconds passed, and I was DCed again. TL,DR: Zak was going fine until server DCed us. Rewarps somehow bugged the map (the BGM was not right) on my client, and I DCed almost immediately after two rewarps. I'm just curious as to if this is a normal thing, or if my problem is unique in some way. I am NOT looking for any GM compensation. Just trying to start a conversation about the issue. It is worth noting that I am playing on a Mac, though I was running BootCamp (not a virtual machine program) + Windows 7 at the time. I don't think that was part of the problem, as we had gotten halfway through the second body when all of this happened. If it was a client/graphics error, I think it probably would've happened before we got that far into Zakum.
