IGN: Mimmie Problem: DC in Dunas v2 Details: recently, while using multiple clients (IMG client) for Dunas V2, my shad always DC during the boss fight... the other two characters (bucc and pally) don't experience this issue this has occurred at least three times so far
yes, this issue only occurs in Dunas V2 it happened occasionally in patch 92.2 but became more frequent in patch 93 and 93.1 in patch 93.2, I’ve attempted Dunas V2 twice, and my shad disconnected both times
You mentioned "this has occurred at least three times so far" but also added it occurred in patch 92.2, 93, 93.1 and 93.2 It doesn't seem to be "at least 3 times", what's the estimated total number of occurrence across those 4 patches? (If you are unsure, please provide an estimation of the frequency for 1 of the patch)
unfortunately i didn’t keep detailed records at the time so it's a bit hard to estimate the frequency in earlier patches however, i can confirm that i've run Dunas V2 4 times since the 93.2 update and dc occurred in all of them
As you have mentioned the disconnection would occur on the IMG client, did you try out WZ client too? Please also confirm the skills used by the Shadower at DunasV2 as it may be the trigger
I haven’t tested the WZ client yet, I think I'll start testing it soon It might take some time but I’ll follow up if I have new findings Thank you~
As far as I know, none of them have reported similar issues As mentioned, since patch 93.2, my shad experienced 100% DC rate when running Dunas V2 To confirm whether this issue is related to NX items, I did some tests: First, I removed NX items except the rings from my shad but during this run it still DC Spoiler: DC detail my shad was using in-game macro: dark sight> boomerang step> assassinate when using boomerang step, the screen freezes and then DC In the second test, I removed all NX items, including the rings. This time my shad didn't DC Based on these results, the DC issue is likely caused by NX rings To confirm this, I tested again by equipping other NX items but no equip rings and no DC occurred From these findings, I believe the disconnection issue with my shad in Dunas V2 is related to the NX rings Below are the rings I previously equipped: (1) cupid ring (2) first love chat ring (3) first love label ring Additionally, here are the detailed records of my recent Dunas V2 runs: https://reurl.cc/86pLD4 I'll continue to update and hope this issue can be resolved
The DC issue in Dunas V2 is still unresolved I tested again without wearing any NX rings today but my shad still got dc'ed (client freezes when using boomerang step and then dc right after) this doesn’t match the previous assumption that the problem is related to NX rings... Did you test on WZ client too If possible, please upload screenshots of your equipped NX items (from your character profile) so that I may request GMs to attempt replicating the scenario of crashing (the trigger could be something very specific such as certain NX + certain skill)
I have dc issues with chaining smoke screen in zak. Never had the issue in v2, not sure if it’s the same cause.
Thanks for your reply I think our disconnection issues might be a bit different My shad dc during the dark sight → boomerang step part when using in-game marco Due to my high ping, I've been using the marco dark sight → boomerang step → assassinate I tried changing the skill order to bstep → dark sight → assassinate While this increases the attack time, it seemed to improve the dc issue in patch 93.2 In addition, patch 93.3 still has dc problems I'll try using bstep → dark sight → assassinate macro to test
