Is Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml also a "false positive"? I am afraid this might be real since my web browser (Microsoft Edge) started being super lagging after I installed Mapleroyal today. Has anyone else had a similar experience too? =================================================================== (update) Just realized that Microsoft Edge came back to normal as soon as I quit the game. If I run the game, the browser starts to slow down again! (and it is realllllly slow) Is this a real virus?
Surprised nobody really replied to this and it's a year old. About the virus concerns, a lot of people made a post regards to this as some people find out that their anti-virus reports maple royal as virus. This is false positive, and does not cause any virus. Because of it, I don't think that the maple royals is causing virus to your pc that slows it down. It's hard to tell how things are going on with your pc but here are some possible reasons I can think of: Your pc might lack some specs. Either RAM, CPU, or both might not be strong which makes other things run slower when you're running maple royals. Try look up task manager and see how CPU and Memory(RAM) goes when you're running maple royals.
