I doubt they would add it, it's a post-big bang skill.

OP wants the skill without the buff, literally just an in-game dice to roll for fun lol

It would probably help if you gave reasons or scenarios where this would be useful. We have no idea why you are suggesting this, and the likeliness of it being considered is currently zero.

Maybe we could implement ~dice (name suggestion) as a chat bubble, similar to the ones that pop up when you toggle smegas. It'd be a good way to settle petty disputes and the chat bubble won't spam the chat box. Maybe the bubble would say something like "user rolled a 6".

I don't think this is a top priority though, but it is a fun suggestion :D

I just think it would be a really neat feature and nice pasttime, it's useful ness probably is limited to settling disputes (like loot) and maybe gambling, which i think is fine
it opens up the possibility of user hosted dice events, "roll 3 3's and u get 50m", it's like a new mini game.

Don't worry guys, I got us on this one.

    Hi Matt,

We would like to propose this idea because this would enhance our experience and avoid guild / party drama.

Exhibit A: Crimson Wood Keep Party Quest

    Scenario with the Dice Command:
    - You're partying it up with a couple buddies / randoms and all of a sudden, a set of Spectrum Goggles drop.
    - Party leader says, hey guys, remember how we discussed this earlier?
    - Everyone was like, yep.
    - Okay guys, go ahead, roll the dice. Let's see who gets it.
    - Jimmy rolls a 100
    - Stanley rolls a 100
    - Oh fk, we got two people who rolled a 100, what do we do now?
    - Jimmy and Stanley re-roll for it.
    - Jimmy rolls a 99
    - Stanley rolls a 63
    - Jimmy gets the spectrum goggles.
    - Stanley was a little pissed, but he'll get over it.

    Scenario without the Dice Command:
    - You're partying it up with a couple buddies / randoms and all of a sudden, a set of Spectrum Goggles drop.
    - Party leader says, okay guys hold on for a second.
    - Party leader scratches his head.
    - Uhh.
    - Party Leader: Can I take it?
    - Jimmy: No wtf man, we all need one too.
    - Party Leader: Look guys, I'm leadin this party so therefore it's mine.
    - Stanley: I'm pulling the most DPS in this party, why the hell can't I have it?
    - Drama continues...
    - Several people get defamed
    - Guild gets broken up
    - Stanley quits Maple Royals

Now let's say they have a point system for CWKPQ, like how they have one for HTPQ.
Since the goggles have such a low drop rate, there may be several people who have enough points to get the goggles, but.. none of em' have a pair of goggles yet. The best solution would be to roll the dice for it. I hope this helps clear the air on why this command is so useful.

    Thanks Matt,
    Purify

I know that on GMS there were a few people who set up shops for people to gamble with this skill. One way people did this was to put up arrows of different amounts, and GMS shops tell the shop-owner who bought what, so the people would type in 2 numbers they wanted to gamble on in the shop chat so the shop-owner would see it. If the dice rolled on one your numbers, you would double your winnings, that way statistically you are at a disadvantage but it was still a fun thing to do. (the dice went from 1-6)

Dice roll for drops is probably the biggest reason for implementing something like this. I know that other servers with a dice command have done this sort of thing before, and it tends to work out fairly well. Not necessary, but another fairly useful tool for boss runners to determine loot orders.

It could also be used to roll for which sorry loser has to run Bishop at the next Horntail, since nobody ever wants to do that.

Well I don't find this nostalgic, can't see how is it exactly necessary but if this is what is going to improve your gameplay...

It's not like we're asking for floating dolphins in the free market. It's a subtle benefit, no harm, no foul.
