Is it true that the different color presents determine the rate of good prizes? For instance, I've noticed the ordering of the presents from the Christmas Tree NPC, with White being first, Red being second, etc. This theory may sound measly, but I have also noticed that the White presents barely drop. I never even get the chance to see them. There has to be a purpose as to why they rarely drop, no?
They have no effects on the reward you get. Originally, it drops ALL red presents. Then we found out there are 3 other colors, so we basically made use of all 4 to make the drops more beautiful. In terms of quantity, it's not evenly distributed. I think there is 75 presents that will be dropped, so if you divide by 4, you won't get a whole number anyway (i.e. some colors will be more than the other).
So wait.. are you just say it some boxs have more chance to get a X item (let's say red sock) them others? Example: Red boxs have more chance to get Red sock them a white box?
That's literally what I just explained in the post you quoted. Basically, the number of presents are not equal, so some colors will drop more than the other. BUT, your reward is NOT DEPENDANT on the color of the present. If it is, I'd have aimed to loot all Red Present as well lmao
