Usually I just download from google drive with no issue, but apparently too many people have downloaded within a 24 hour period so it's locked off currently. So I decided to try out the mega link for the first time and I've never seen anything like it before. So I got to the stage of it apparently being completed and my computer completely froze up and I was forced to restart, I attempted it again with the same results. I have no idea if the file is even on my computer or what is even going on or how this even works, coming from someone who is just used to downloading things the oldschool way through the actual browser. What do?
Thanks for the response, I've read this method but the thing that sticks out to me is that you are liable for whatever you host. It's probably just me being overly paranoid but isn't it a grey area?
I have no idea what you mean by 'you are liable for whatever you host' If you are worried about the file being in your Google Drive, you can remove it after downloading the cloned copy
