Disconnect after a few seconds of playing

I'm new to MapleRoyals, and I'm having an issue staying connected to the server. Player movements and chat are completely fluid for me, but mobs will freeze in place or not take damage properly, and result in a crash after a few seconds. Any suggestions? Running on Windows 10 with 98/ME compatability.

I had a hunch it might be related to my network, but sadly I don't have access to those settings since I'm using dorm internet :/ Thanks for the help
