Disconnect after selecting character

So I'm able to login, select my character and get loaded in all fine, then about a second afterwards, all the mobs on my screen freeze, I lag and disconnect and get the following error message.

"Unable to connect to game server.
Please try again later"

 

Me too, but not a second its instantly

 

I am not disconnecting anymore seems like it was a connection failure

 

Seems to be better this morning!

I guess it was just temporary.

If its happening sporadically like that it's connection based, either the server is having trouble or your connection to it is. Look at the lag feedback sticky in feedback forum for more information on running an MTR to see where the issues lay.

 

This only happens on this account, when I play my warrior.

I have a second account where I play my cleric and it seems fine. Really strange.

 

This is happening to me as well. Logging in and getting to the character select screen proceeds as normal, but as soon as I click on my character to login, the client immediately closes out and says I have been disconnected from the server. I don't have a second character to experiment with whether or not its just this character thats being affected, but its definitely persistant. I've attempted 5 to 7 times in rapid succession and each time I've been kicked out. Never had any issues with the server prior to this.

The IGN should be "Skie".

 

Don't have VM installed, but I just uninstalled Hamachi and I was able to get in.

 

Having this same problem over and over again. Was training for one minute and now I can't even log into any of my characters. I can open the client fine on my mac and make it to the character select, then immediately after I click my character(s) the game freezes and says "Unable to connect to the login server due to a server check, a firewall block or other network issues..." etc.

 

Server is currently frozen/down, hence being unable to login.

it will take the time it takes, a server admin has to manually reset the server they are very active and fast so i guess a few hours tops.

 

I thought I was the only one having this problem, good to know that someone is already working on it

 

no1 is working on it thats why we are waiting, they have to reset the server which i think is pretty easy since they can do it fast. But point is they are busy,sleeping or something else and are not aware of the major crisis of having to wait.
