IGN: Excavate Problem: Disconnecting right after character selection. Details: After selecting character I get disconnected, and this message pops up "Unable to connect to the game server. Please try again later." I can log on other characters on the account fine, and I was logged on to that character just fine earlier too.

We have made some fix in the upcoming update. Hopefully it will fix the problem. IF not, bump your thread again. For now, let's be patience and wait until the update is here.
Just going to bump this with the following request, and hopefully a GM can respond to it. I just have a question about my situation. I am starting to lose hope that my character will be fixed before the event is over, and I was wondering if I may at least be refunded the amount of candles on that character? It was about a months worth of farming, and at this point I do not think I have enough time to farm them all again (especially now that the 2x drop rate compensation is over). It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Are you still not able to login? We were just discussing your case yesterday and Kevin seems to have resolved the issue bugging your character.
First of all thank you for the extremely quick response. I tried again last night around 8:00pm eastern time, and was still unable to connect on that one character. I will try again when I get home later, and bump this if necessary, or should I send you a conversation instead?
Bump. Even after the update on July 7th that specific character is still unable to connect. Is it possible to move my character? I am wondering this because it was only disconnected and bugged after I went to the FM. I was able to play perfectly fine on that character before I went into the FM. Continuing with the request.
