Hi Guys ! So the title says it all. I never played MS in my life not at the golden times and not at the " bad " times. I do grinded out MS2 tho when it released. But i constantly hear that officials are like alot of P2W etc. So basically why i am asking is. I know that never having played the official you are not expected to start a pserver. I know people from a different game who ask me questions in pservers which are usually the most basic ones you would know from just having played the official game. So would you guys recommend playing here under these circumstances? Thanks for the answers in advance Quick Edit: I have found out apparently you can only play on those 2 resolutions given in the downloads. Is there any way to have higher resolution? :/
Yes! There is a tutorial that helps you learn the basic controls, how to interact with npcs, and use abilities. You can find plenty of guides around that help you explore the options of different classes to play after the tutorial area. Read the rules carefully before beginning to play. Be sure to follow them to avoid any punishment! yes absolutely! this is the best place to start as well since is pre BB meaning there isn't all that extra stuff after a huge update from Nexon so it is relatively easy to pick the game.
I personally met someone who never played MapleStory before and joined Royals and she's doing just fine! The great thing about royals is we have guides for just about anything and a community that is very helpful. If you have any questions, searching the forum is a good place to start or asking in the shoutbox. Try to make friends in-game and you'll have no problems.
