Say you attack a boss monster with more than 2 summons (hence more than 3 monsters in total). It seems like Brandish always automatically hits the boss, i.e. hits the 3 highest-level monsters. Is this the way it works? Can anyone confirm?
As far as I know: Melee attacks hit the oldest monster/boss in the map first. If mob/boss spawns at the exact same time, such as CWK bosses, then melee attacks will lock-on to the first target you attack. I don't know what happens if the first target is hit by buffs such as powerguard, instead of an attack skill.
@ImVeryJelly @p2theredator Thanks. Are your answers based on your observations or is there a source to confirm it?
Brandish will hit the oldest 3 monsters in the map, even if that monster is a boss. For example while fighting Ephenia, the fairy boss in Ellin Forest, when she summons small fairies and then teleports away (she leaves the map temporarily when teleporting) Brandish will hit the summoned fairies first until they die and then the boss.
