For Dojo right now, if I start from the beginning (stage 1) and save at the first rest (after stage 5), if I quit right after I saved, I can resume Stage 6 in the following run. If I continued after saving instead, and quitting at some point later (e.g. stage 9), in the next run I will start from stage 1. Also, I'm not sure if this is working as intended. If I save at the rest after stage 5 and quit, shouldn't I resume at the same resting map as well?
If you save and quit, you will resume at the savepoint the next time you enter, and the savepoint gets reset.
That's correct but when I resume, I start at the next boss stage instead of the resting spot where I saved. Is this the original function or has it been changed? I'm not sure if it's from old GMS but here's what I meant.

i think he means. cos u can only save at resting spot, he saved at a resting spot. but when he resumes, he resumes at the next boss after the resting spot rather than at the resting spot he saved at. example wld be saving at the 1st resting spot and resuming at faust rather than the 1st resting spot
That makes sense to me, same as how when you started Dojo it immediately brings you into Round 1, and not a resting point prior to Round 1.
Also, if I save at a resting map and I continue instead of leaving from that resting map, the save will be reset. It's pretty much only useful for buffing your main Dojo character with mules outside. I'm not sure if this is a bug or an intentional nerf to Dojo points farming, or it's the original GMS design that I have forgotten.
So the current "bugs" are: 1) Resume at stage after checkpoint upon resume, rather than resuming at the checkpoint itself. 2) Save gets reset if continue instead of leaving
I don't really understand why anyone would save their progress at all since a full Dojo doesn't take that much time anyways. But despite that, I am sure it works how it is supposed to work tbh.
We will not be implementing an exploit from the official server that lets you abuse the save system, they themselves even fixed this.
