Yo, Recently at Wolf Spiders, my party priest used Mystic Door to teleport a party member over, and then several members crashed from the map. From there, I decided to test the theory I came up with: Players will crash when a door is summoned while they are attacking. I tested it by getting a member to attack when a door is summoned, he crashed. I tested it myself, I crashed as well. Maybe it's a concidence, I'm not sure. But please look into this, thanks.
Perhaps.. Try to reproduce the crash as per my description of the issue with a priest using mystic door while you attack and such.
At skeles people will D/C when someone door's if they're a certain distance away. This may be the same thing?
To me, the distance seems more likely than the simultaneous attack/door. I always check the minimap when I door in WS Cavern, and every time the two players furthest away from the top are booted.
Would it be correct that the d/c occurs when a player uses Door and other players d/c as they get closer to where the door is spawned? Or do the players d/c immediately no matter where they are on the map?
yo Raiz, it's LURK. i've heard of this happening many times yet i don't D/C when it happens. is there anyone in your party who is unaffected by it as well? maybe finding those who are exempt and seeing why they're exempt, can help you find a faster way to being exempt from that d/c glitch as well.
For me it seems like the farther away you are, the more likely you are to d/c. But there are times that I've doored when no one d/c's even though they're half way across the map. The other day I was leeching people at WS and got door d/ced. I was in the middle of using Genesis.
I can confirm that I d/c all the time, and it only ever happens when there's a door. as for whether or not I'm close to the door for it to happen, I don't think I have enough data to come to a meaningful conclusion. What I can say is that of all the times I have d/c'd, I was not close to the door (though I spend 95% of my time away from the top platform anyway, so take this information with a grain of salt)
It occurs when the other players in the map within the vicinity of the door. i.e door isn't visible on the opposite players screen. Still needs to be looked into @Matt / @Pete
I can confirm that this is a bug, it happens to party members that are outside a specific range when the door is cast. As to how to fix it, I'm not sure.
