Trivial Dr De Lang's note quest bugged

I've clicked the pipe on sequence, top>btm>mid, however there's nothing happened.

It keep prompt the same msg box:


Is this quest bugged after update?

 

The pendant is behind de Lang’s portrait in the house! Going down the pipes is the next part of the quest.

When you asked on shoutbox I thought you had reached the stage where you put the pendant into the book to retrieve his notes.
