What exactly is the cooldown for the quest? I've heard that it's supposed to be 4 hours but from experience it's longer: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/moira-will-not-give-me-ht-prequest-to-complete.80522/#post-418641 If it is supposed to be this long, I believe that shortening the cooldown would be beneficial.
I can confirm the cool down is incorrect. I just tried to start the quest and was unable to. It's frustrating to go to the NPC to find out that the 4 hour cool down is not up yet. Would be much appreciated if this was corrected to save the inconvenience.
It is indeed more than 4 hours as I pointed out to Mikey for the last 3 days at least. My work shift is 4 hrs and I completed the quest prior starting to work. By the time I finish working and 2 more hrs after that I keep mapling before going to bed, the quest is not up yet which means that cd is at least 6hrs or more
Reviving the thread because I'm wondering if there may be something off with quest cooldowns in general, and not only with the Dragon Elixirs one. I'm currently running Papulatus pretty regularly, and to my knowledge the quest cooldown to get a new Piece of Cracked Dimension is 24 hours. It however doesn't appear to be the case. It eventually resets at some point and I'm able to run, but it takes longer (presumably around 2 hours more). I took a couple of screenshots and hope this could be helpful. In case I'm wrong and the cooldown is indeed longer, feel free to ignore this post. Spoiler: timestamps
@Samadhi the pap quest issue has been happening to me too, as well as the dragom elixir cooldown. I handed it in and wanted to do it for more elixirs, but 5 hours later it still wasnt over
I'm not sure how long the cooldown is but honestly I like how it's this long. the reason I say this is because the quest gives 2 elixirs and you can only ht twice a day this allows everyone a chance to get manon. Lately whenever I need manon I just channel surf and 9 out of 10 times I find one. When the cd was shorter people were constantly at manon farming elixirs like they were being removed from the game or something. It was annoying even finding an empty channel. I can see some people saying what if they can't find manon and they will lose out on their 2 hts that day. So rather than lowering cd I would suggest giving 3 elixirs rather than 2 so the manon maps aren't always packed. Long story short I don't think the long cd is an issue because when you wake up the next day you can just do the quest again and do your 2 hts.
