Can't obtain the all-so-sweet Dragon mount since silver mane doesn't seem to be available either. Any alternative ways for getting this? Huge bummer not to get it when it was the only reason why I actually cared for getting 200 ..
It certainly would be nice to have the option of the magnificent dragon mount at lvl 200. I wonder if the fact that mounts are bugged (don't get hungry, can't gain experience) has something to do with this? I have some vague memory of having to raise your hog mount to a certain level before you can get the next mount - could be wrong though, it's been a while.
My suggestion is that you should be able to purchase all the mounts (hog, mane, dragon) from a npc and for a reasonable price.
I like this idea, assuming that you have to be a certain level to purchase each mount, as it would be a nice additional optional money sink for excess mesos on the server.
Yeah, why not make them purchasable from Maple Admin/Kenta/whatever, assuming you're the correct level. And I think Kat is correct, pre-BB your Silver Mane needed to be level 30 (max) to be able to upgrade it to the Red Draco mount, and your Hog needed to be level 15 to be able to be upgraded to a Silver Mane. (In addition to level limits, Hog 70+, Silver Mane 120+, Red Draco 200)
