Dragonfire Ring (alt Zakum etc.): can you use other characters to hunt it?

Is this item programmed like 2022 nevermelting snow/hp quest etc. where only the character who kills can see it? Or can you use other characters to help hunt it?

I once went hours with nothing when trying to use 4th job mages to hunt for a character. But it could've been RNG so I need a confirmation.

 

Yes, u can hunt it buy pt with the character having the quest active.
