quick breakdown. I/L (recommended first char) -go lukless no matter what. even if ur gear is clean=still better than luk -strong 2nd job, 3rd kinda slowish compared to other mages but not weak. - 4th job is easy, u do lots of dmg/make lots of leeching money. - wont get invited to boss runs as you do no single target dmg. - cheapish to fund. drk (recommended 2nd char) -low dex would be best to start of as for a new player, u can always AP reset out of it when u have enough accuracy later - 2nd job and 3rd job are good mobbing. -4th job u get no new skills really u use your 3rd job skills for bossing, 4th is mainly buffs/passives -good bossing char, you get HB and decent dmg -NEED to hp wash to 30k on this as its the most important class to do it on in my opinion (makes ur zerking hp easier) -warrior equips are kinda wierd priced depending on if you're male/female ( i see female costs more) Shadower (<<< this class is 0/10) -2nd job is slow because no mobbing, 3rd is arguably the fastest to level in the game because u get meso explosion( F/P probs fastest solo) -4th job kinda lacks not many people play shad for this reason ( you do get smokescreen, which is %dmg buff to group) which is ok i guess :| -????? -???? class sucks dont play it but you should just find what you think is fun, the game is only fun when you enjoy the play style, so find what you like
Shadower - Fastest class to get through 3rd job with, if you know your shit (which is quite simple to learn) and get lucky with priests who know their shit too (which again, is quite easy to learn. After all, it's Maple Story) For a first char ever, I'd say go Hero, I/L, F/P, or Bishop - Why? Cheap, efficient, doesn't require HP washing. Add 30~50 INT to your Hero steadily through your lower levels and you'll have enough MP to wash for a decent HT sed mule by 155.
