    Have tried using a potion and then entering, but portal still doesn't work.

    I believe it was because I used the Orange Mushroom transforming potion during the JQ. It was uncancelable for its duration and may have affected the portal.

    Correct. I believe the bug is same as the skill bugs in the past, where using a broken skill would bug you from entering any portals.
