Hi guys, newly registered to this game, and I want to thank you for making this server! I got a few questions. How do I get mesos in the most efficient way? And how do I get good equipment? I know you can buy the first gear to level 40, is it still hunting for 50+ equipment? Or have you guys put in a ''private-server-like store''? Thanks in advance
Hi, and welcome to Maple Royals! You'll find that because of our 4x meso and 2x item drop rate that it's relatively easy to make enough mesos at low levels by grinding and by NPC-ing drops. Another good way to make money at lower levels is to use your NX to buy AP resets from the Cash Shop and sell them for 4-5 mill each. (Last time I checked, the going rate was about 4 mill per AP reset.) It's also a good idea to invest in a Hired Merchant (available from Fredrick in the FM) once you have enough money. When you reach lvl 50, you'll be able to use our custom Gachapon, which is always a potential meso-earner as well as a way to get hold of some equipment that is not available as monster-drops. We don't have any kind of custom equipment shop, but we do have a special feature known as the godly item rate, which means that items gained as either monster drops or from gachapon have a chance to be up to +5 stat points above the normal maximum stats for that item - or if you're unlucky, up to -5 stat points below the normal minimum stats! Items like pink/purple Adventurer Capes, Ski Skis, Brown Work Gloves, White Scrolls, Chaos Scrolls, Elemental Wands/Staves, Dragon Khanjars and many, many more can be obtained from Gachapon.
If making mesos is a critical issue for u i recommend u to vote every day (every 24hours) and save ur nx til u hit 50 and then go for a big gach run. i also recommend u to loot EVERY eqp/scroll/mesos from grinding and sell them (some to the NPCs and the better items to other players). Is there any other way to make mesos? I honestly can't remember how I made mesos back before the new maple, other than selling 10% overall dex scrolls.. D:
You'll make plenty of mesos for your immediate needs at low levels from just grinding and npc-ing drops and selling anything worthwhile that you find (eg scrolls).
