Solved [Solution Given] Error 2147467259 upon launching the game SOLUTION

Hi all, just wanted to post my own solution for Nvidia cards for encountering the error 2147467259 unspecified upon launching the game. Discussion is documented in other threads but mostly for Intel systems. (I work in IT so I have the itch to always update with knowledge, lol)

Of course, go through standard troubleshooting procedures: make sure your game files are up to date, graphics card driver is up to date, try running in compatibility mode, yada yada before you try this solution.

1) Go to Nvidia Control Panel/Nvidia Settings
2) Left hand side panel >> Display >> Change resolution'

3) Select a resolution from the list and make sure it shows "Refresh rate" as 60 hz on the right side.

4) Hit Apply, then run the game launcher, voila

At first I was thinking it was due to the size of my display being a 3440x1440 monitor, but I realized the game runs fine docked to it from my laptop. So it looks like the main culprit is that the game must run in 60hz.
