Error after few minutes of playing

    Hi,
    So I downloaded the new setup today and reinstalled the game, and the game keeps crashing for some reason :/ I keep getting "error code: - 2147287038 (Unknown error 0x80030002).. I tried running it in compatibility mode for windows 7 but didnt help.. please help.. I love this game.. It relaxes me..

    I downloaded the setup from google drive, could that be the problem?

    Btw, for more info, I can get past the login screen, but when I go to choose a world and channel, it crashes.

    Have you tried these:
    Check your compatibility. (Windows 7 works best for me since I'm using Windows 10.)
    Check your resolution. (640 x 480, works almost all of the time.)
    Make sure your drivers are up to date.
    Run MapleRoyals on administrator.
    Change your monitor refresh rate from 59hz to 60hz.

    That error code usually means you are using outdated game files

    If your game files are already updated, try launch the game with MapleRoyalsFullScreen.EXE instead
