Error code: -2147024809

I am running on windows 8.
It was fine when I played 2 days ago. I just clicked the shortcut and the game launched.

However, now I am unable to log in and I am given this error code.
It also says: "Parameter is incorrect"

I have looked at the error code guide on the sticky note.
I have also tried the lolwut program but it says there is a shortcut i am suppose to have "maplestory8" which i do not have.

Please help!

Are you sure you followed all of the instructions listed? You were able to get in before since you had told me you were getting disconnected from the Game Server.
