Hello. I am a returning MapleRoyals user and I wanted to come back to the game after years of not playing, but sadly, I receive Error Code -2147467259 upon trying to launch MapleRoyals.exe. I've tried using Matt's lolwut solution, with no luck. I also unistalled (including registrys) and reeinstalled. I've tried running the game in 640 x 1080 (which launches, but looks extremely bad, and I can not control the mouse past the top left corner of the game). Now I have tried changing my graphics cards monitor referesh rate from 60 Hertz to 30 Hertz which opens to game up in Windowed Mode, which is okay for me, but it's not practical to keep having my graphics card switch refresh rates just to run MapleStory, only to switch it back later. Now, I would be okay if someone knew of a batch file of sorts that will change my refresh rate to 30, open the game, and change my refresh rate back to 60 after closing, if such a thing exists, or if someone knows how to get the game itself to only run in 30 hertz, but not my graphics card. Basically, I just want to run my game without constantly changing my graphics card monitor refresh rate. I'll try out any alternate solution. Only solution I came up was to use Nirsoft's NirCmd You could create a batch file to change the refresh rate to 30 and then another to set it back to 60. Code: setdisplay {monitor:index/name} [width] [height] [color bits] {refresh rate} {-updatereg} {-allusers} So, for example, to change the refresh rate to 30hz you could use this. Code: @echo off nircmd.exe setdisplay 1920 1080 32 30 -updatereg exit note: I didn't test the batch file since I don't have nircmd installed.
