I recently added a Nvidia Graphics card 1070, and then maple royals stopped working. I keep getting this error message. I have Windows 10, with a Nvidia MSI Geforce 1070. The refresh rate on my monitor is 60Hz. I've tried changing and setting the compatibility to windows 98/windows me. I've also re downloaded it multiple times. I've also allowed and turned off my firewall. Is it due to my new graphics card? Is there anything to work around this?
It was working a week ago, but after I added a 1070 gfx and added a Nvidia/Geforce experience for the gfx card I started getting this error. After which I tried to restart, reinstall etc.
is gfx the only thing u changed? if yes, maybe it's the issue with the gfx itself does ur mobo have a onboard gfx?
I have an AMD CPU which has integrated graphics, which in the beginning worked, but then I added a 1070 to my computer and then I started getting this issue. But yes the graphics card is the only thing I changed. What issue could it be? My friends have graphics cards too and no problem like this....
then issue might really be with ur gfx i was previously using nvidia myself but i switched to another brand and don't even need to gfx in zak anymore.
So are you saying that mapleroyal doesn't run with nvidia graphics cards? It's not that i needed this card to do zak, but I just upgraded my rig in general.
I used to reinstall the system to solve the problem.gg refer https://royals.ms/forum/threads/common-v83-client-errors-fixes.87492/
i think the only advice i can share is to try to switch to ur mobo on-board gfx when u are mapling. it should work if it's rly the gfx issue
Just putting this here as a possible solution for people researching how to fix "Error code: -2147467259 (Unspecified Error)" and haven't been able to fix it. Make sure your computer HAS THE OPTION for 800x600 resolution. It doesn't have to be running at that resolution, but it should be an option in your Settings->Display->Resolution options. If it's not, you can add the resolution as a profile depending on your graphics card. For Intel, you can add an 800x600 at 60 fps profile in Intel Graphics Settings (can usually get there by right clicking on your desktop). I know this is an issue that can happen on a lot of HP laptops, as many of them only go down to 1024x768.
What resolution are you playing in? I have the same problem. My main monitor runs at 1440p @ 59hz appearently. What I do is switch to a lower resolution (full hd) and then boot up the game, then switch back.
