Quick question. having 30/30 fire arrow, 20/20 mp eater, 20/20 teleport, and 20/20 meditation where should i spend the remaining points? Is it worth getting or rather better to get: 20/20 slow and 11/30 poison breath? or should i opt for 30/30 poison breath and 1/20 slow?
It was too late for me to realize that 30/30 poison would have been better than 30/30 fire arrow.... I'm still lvl 46, with 30/30 fire arrow, 9/20 tele, 1/20 mp eater I have 9 remaining sp. I'm assuming that Lvling won't really be much of a problem because of Ludi maze. So I was planning to go with 20/20 slow 11/30 poison breath, but if going mdts would be faster(?) then I'll probably opt for the 30/30 poison... unless of course, 20/20 slow is worth more than poison. Basically, my question is 1) which is worth more in the 30-70 lvling process 2) which is worth more in the future(70+) seeing as poison mist will probably replace my poison breath
Sorry to sort of hijack the thread, but out of curiosity, at what level did you go to (M)DT's and roughly how much INT did you have to be able to hit them at a decent rate? My wife's F/P is currently lvl 58 and still having a lot of trouble hitting DT's with poison.
Ooo yay more F/P mages! You're only lvl 46 so it shouldn't really be that big of a deal right now where you spend your points because you will lmpqing soon and that is much faster than training especially if you don't have brace. 1) so leveling 30-70, fire arrow is much more useful than brace because lmpq. BUTTTT if you want to train yourself, brace is very useful for training from like 60-80. 2)so yes, brace does get replaced by mist rather quickly. HOWEVER, you really need brace to train until you max your mist at lvl 80ish. Those nub lvl mists really are annoying to cast over and over again imo and max brace is much faster to cast. As for slow, people say to max it but... honestly, I don't think it really helps LOL... I've never actually used it for anything and I'm around lvl 120 now. So I don't think that it's a necessity to max slow. I definitely think that you should go for brace because it makes training SO much faster. Like really. Hmm I think I was able to hit DTs around lvl 55ish, MDTs like 62ish. But that was at like a 70% rate? Which is actually fine because you just need to hit it a few times to poison it. So to hit them yes omg I had so much trouble with this. So what I did was go and buy some INT equips and it helped SO MUCH. Like best investment ever. I had about 50-60 extra INT in equips. So whatever your base INT is now, just get enough equips to add around 50-60 INT and you should be hitting them decently with max brace. max fire arrow. then max brace. you absolutely need brace for training in 2nd job. its way faster than lmpq ever will be
What's your take on slow? Since mist will take over brace anyways, i heard that Slow + Mist combo is amazing.
I can't think of any situation where I would want a monster to be slower for a mage. If a monster is faster, it'll get caught in the mist quicker.
