So after redownloading maple royals onto my laptop, after it worked fine on my desktop, i have been having issues. While in the process of creating a new character the screen faded to black and stayed there. No music or anything. While playing on a character I had on desktop, the game played fine but then the screen faded to black once more and the music begen to play horribly. Certain parts of the track played over others, some replayed themselves and it was chaos. Any help? EDIT 1: After testing I have found that the fade to black occurs during area transitions. Still unsure what causes it in character creation.
