Hello I am using VMWare Windows 7 and trying to run MapleRoyals but keep getting this error.. I have searched on the forums and seen many suggestions to fix but none have worked so far.. What I have done: Downloaded DirectX9 Tried right clicking and doing the compatibility mode thing (many suggest Windows 7 but I can only pick Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, or Vista..) Changing Screen Resolution to everything and anything Run Setup.exe, it says it change my resolution to H1 frequency or something like that but nothing changes Update my video driver (says it's updated) What I have seen but don't understand: Editing a .vmx file? A lot say it work but I don't understand where to find this.. Please help me I wanna play so bad and I have no idea what to do..
WOO I FOUND THE PROBLEM OUT! If anyone like me has this problem go to Virtual Machine -> Install VMWare tools. That fixed it after a restart.
