Title. Try to launch the game, I get this error. Tried: - moving mapleroyals folder to desktop/documents - installing mapleroyals in desktop/documents - launching as administrator both from shortcut created by installer, and directly click exe in mapleroyals folder - all of the above in addition to toggling real-time protection off (made an exception for all of these options listed above in the windows defender) See screenshot of the error here https://prnt.sc/wfVYS7YEddt7
Issue has been resolved. It was because I was using an outdated version of the game. Deleted all files and downloaded the newest available version from the downloads page. For anyone running into the same issue on 10/22/2024, it is because the game just updated with an event and you need to download the new version manually. See here
