Solved [Solution Given] Failed updating the game

    As title says, have not been able to install and run the client. I've downloaded the newest patch (Update 88.2)

    I've disabled my antivirus, etc.

    The error I keep receiving is "Failed updating the game: Get "https://cdn.royals.ms/info/mr": EOF

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Do you have a screenshot of the error message?

    As you are able to access the website fine, would like to confirm what's blocking the auto-update

    Didn't see this error message before

    Please try the following as I am unsure what's causing the issue
    1) ensure your Royals folder is added as an exception for anti-virus
    2) if you are not using the default anti-virus (Windows Security), please check if your anti-virus firewall is blocking any websites (cdn.royals.ms)
    3) changing DNS as per this post's 2nd step
