Hello everyone! As you know I am a Bishop, lvl 130, and have sold leech multiple times so far. I try to charge a lower price for new players, and make plenty of money doing so. Anyway, there is a leech guide which you can find all of the spots by level, and since it belongs to Jooon I thought I would quote it alongside my leech guide, Jooon I hope you don't mind. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/leeching-guide-updated-2022-goby-guide-included.145533/ Now for my leech guide as a bishop: Alright so you've just become a Bishop in which case it's time to get your Genesis skill. This can be done by doing Horntail PQ, which has a special Elixer prerequisite which you can get by fighting manon. It's recommended you buy service for this, as it's not easy and requires 3 players. Service for this usually costs 40m, or at least it did when I played. You can use an Smega to shout for it. After you have genesis, and I'll keep this short, there are things you should and shouldn't do as a bishop. In our current time, not too many people buy the drops most monsters give in maplestory, aside from maple weapons and shields, so it's best when doing low lvl leech, which you should be able to 1 hit up to FTP1 with level 10 Genesis, to ignore moving around the map too much to collect those drops. If you truly want to stand out as a Bishop, let's move on to map rotation: Map rotation is simply, the path you will go back and forth, and up and down in some cases, while using Genesis, to give your leech exp. The best thing to do is learn how far you can move before respawn, and the perfect map for this is FTP1 In FTP1, what I like to do is Time when the mobs respawn in order to use genesis right after you've used it, requiring less movement across the map and more fights, thus giving your leech the maximum amount of exp for their buck, this requires a bit more potions but is useful, and people like it. Some Bishops don't do this, but if you want to charge more, it's a good idea to give your leech the optimal exp rates. If you have 140 run speed, which can easily be obtained through a scrolled bathrobe, a mask, a sirius cloak, and squishy shoes from kerning pq, combined with teleport, the exp rates will be much higher than telecasting, just combine movement with teleportation. In FTP1, although sometimes I'm not quite fast enough for the top platform because of knockbacks, when I jump down the lower platform, and use genesis, if I wait about one second, the mobs respawn, and I can use genesis again. This isn't a waste because it would take me more time to climb the ladder than doing so. However, if you decide to wait a long time and stand in one spot, that's much lower exp rates, which is a no-no. There is a way to do this correctly, as I mentioned above, and a way to do it wrong. Exp: If you've noticed, split leech gives both players 70% exp. Well, why? Mapleroyals has a system which gives you an additional 10% exp per party member... Regardless of where they are on the map. What if I told you, you can boost your leeches exp all the way to 85% per person in split leech? Most people's computers can handle multi-clienting, or you can simply have friends fill the party. In split leech you have a total of three party members, including your bishop... If you add three more people to the party, whom are doing whatever on other maps, then your exp increases by 30%, or 15% because you have two party members sharing that exp. It takes some time to explain it, and most players aren't aware of this system in mapleroyals, however the last suggestion I can give you in order to make most profit, unless there's really no way around it, avoid using Smega to find leeches, just walk around henesys somewhere in the Free Market, and use a chalkboard that says "S>Leech Price#" The Chalkboard is a wonderful item that can save you time and money, because you can use it many times, daily. If you have characters that can enter cpq1 or cpq2, that may also be a nice place to look for leeches, sometimes it works. For extremely new players looking to save on potions: As you know... Ginger ales now cost 16,000 meso, A lvl 1 genesis skill costs much less mp but does plenty of damage, so if you're looking to sell really low lvl leech, although no guide would say this... I recommend leaving it at lvl 1 until you have more funds, it still hits pretty high, in my case, although I don't remember well I think it did about 12,000 damage, I may be off by a few numbers though. Skeles: Some Bishops have the problem of their hp being too low for skeles, even with good damage output which is 1 or 2 hit, but there is hope, you can still sell leech there, so long as you have an active spearman leech using hyper body. This will Boost your hp to somewhere around 3400, allowing you to handle skeles with magic guard, and give you quite a bit of extra mp as well. Note: There may be many things that I missed, this is just a guide from my personal experience selling leech, so take it for what it is. Bye -Falados... World's next Greatest Pre Big-Bang Bishop
This is something that's been on my list to investigate for a while now. I just finished testing and for me it does not seem to work - party members in a different map don't affect exp at all. It's like they're in a fully separate party. If you've tested it and it works, would you mind sharing a video?
When I sold leech, I also dragged a HBmule along as well so I could cast Genesis 7~8x rather than 3~4x and it helped me to save on a lot of power elixirs
