Closed Fame Requirement

There is a fame requirement on my level 80 gear (Dark Pirate Top and Dark Pirate Pants). Is there a way around this?

 

Do quests that give you fames. Else wear the non-dark ones.

This line gives +10 fame over 3 quests, as well as a free 60% GFA on the first one.

The second ones are a bit of a pain though, due to low drop rate. But the first one is definitely worth doing.
