Character Name: FesterSays Last thing you did: I was working on the Pap quest when I DC'd and I quickly saw an autoban message in the chat box on maple. Why do you think you got banned?: "high damage" - I'm not sure if it was chain lightning or bliz, but to a master teddy I supposedly inflicted on the high end of 50k. The last few days working on the quest I've only done 1's to master teddys (the bigger ones) with bliz which I've figured is because they're immune to it or the like. I've been using bliz to clear the smaller teddys, and then chain lightning on the larger teddys. Ban message when attempting to log in: "Your account has been permanently banned for serious violation of the rules. Therefore you will be unable to use this account. Details: Autoban FesterSays: High damage 57186 on Master Soul Teddy using skill: 2221007" What GM banned you (optional): This was an autoban. Side note: I've done this quest once before. I think I dropped the ludi medal at one point or another on accident and that's why I'm redoing it.
Please don't use any skills on mobs that are immune to them, if one of them spawns as an event pig the damage will register and you will get autobanned for that (since the pig isn't immune to it, but the game thinks you're killing the original mob) For now you've been unbanned!
Thank you!! I'm not complaining or trying to come off as anything but grateful- but there's obviously a bug here. Are there any plans of fixing this so it doesn't happen anymore?
What's the benefit in hitting mobs that are immune to your attacks any way? This bug will be out of the game once the event is done at the 10th of january
Well in that specific map there's the master soul teddies, and the smaller ones. Not sure what their name is, but they aren't immune to bliz. For my purposes I was just clearing the smaller teddies quickly with a bliz cast on multiple plats then doing cleanup on the master soul teddies with chain lightning since it can take 2/3 casts to make those die. That's what I was up to when this happened and it seemed to make sense to me lol. It's not a huge deal and I'll be more careful, I just figured I'd ask at least. Again, thank you.
