I'm pretty new to HP Washing and after reading numerous guides on the forums, I have a few questions about the general procedure.

    1. Do you HP Wash immediately after you level up? If not, then can I just put my AP into whatever stat I normally put it in and after a certain level, say lvl 135, remove a point from MP and then add it to HP?
    2. Is it absolutely required to have base INT for fighters to HP Wash? Can I just have bonus INT from my equipment?
    3. What is a good goal for HP to have on fighters, if they would like to boss at around lvl 135?
    4. All the guides I read put their AP point in HP first and then they reset their MP to allocate that point to their primary stat. Is it ok if I put my AP point in my primary stat and then reset my MP and put it to HP?

    Thanks!

    1. You do not HP wash immediately after you level up. When you level up, put your AP in int (if you're raising base int) and put your AP in str or dex (if you're not raising base int)!

When you stop leeching, which is level 135 for the vast majority of people, you will use one AP Reset to -str/dex/int/luk +HP. You need exactly one AP in HP or MP to start the HP washing process. You recycle this one AP infinitely between HP and MP. To HP wash, all you do is AP Reset -MP +HP over and over and over and over until you get your goal HP or you run out of washable MP!

    2. Depends on your HP goal!

    3. 20k HP is about the minimum to have by level 155 to be a reliable sed mule for HT. You don't NEED to HP wash to survive bosses, strictly speaking.

    4. The guides you read are wrong, and you're right. Your fresh level up AP should be put in int/str/dex. And then whenever you want to get to your HP goal, you'll sit down at your computer and do that spam AP Reset to -MP +HP process!

If you put fresh level up AP in HP you get 50-54 HP
If you use AP Reset AP to HP wash, you get 50-55 HP

So it's not terrible if you use fresh level up AP to HP wash. It's just pointless because you're wasting a free 1 HP you can get by not using the AP Reset AP method. And you're wasting AP you could put in str/dex for your damage by dumping them in HP for no good reason. :D

@Shiyui Thank you! That really helped clear things up! In order to gain additional MP each time you level up, you just equip your int gear right before leveling right?
