Final Attack

Hey all,

I started on this server yesterday and, since it was my main back in the good old days of EMS, started a Warrior -> Page -> etc.
I remember vaguely from years ago how Final Attack started out as being a useless skill, since it costed you DPS in some way (too long ago to actually know what the problem with it was). Then there was an update and suddenly Final Attacks was ok again and it was worth taking it. The problem I have now is is that I have no idea in what patch this change was made, so my question: On the patch this server is played on, is Final Attack useless, or worth taking?

Final attack will cost you DPS in later stages of the game, so I'd recommend still avoiding it.

It is unfortunate that its lowers DPS output because it looks so cool!

 

Yeah, I remember liking it after it was reworked. It's a shame, fortunately not a big one.

 

The reason it's useless is because the skill damage splits between mob when you use Slash Blast, which is your main training attack. Save your SP and max out your other weapon mastery and the respective booster.

 

I think it was buffed after the Big Bang, it activated without an animation. So it wouldn't cost any extra time to use it if I remembered it right

 

Yup you are right! But I meant I like the current animation even though I don't have any points into it
