So when I installed the game windows defender (using windows 10) warned me there was a trojan in the program and tried removing it. I then tried turning off defender and reinstalling it and I could play the game fine. Now today when I went to play I got the message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". And this is after I put an exception in windows defender for the file and folder. I tried running as admin but it didnt work. Anyone know what to do?
Either fully disable Microsoft Defender or try make an exception for the entire folder/ folder path. Google might help you more, I really dislike defender so I don't use it myself.
